I think I’m guilty of taking Exception Notifier for granted - it’s used on pretty much all of our projects and yet I completely forgot about it!

I’ve only used it on one project so far but has_many_polymorphs is another plugin well worth taking a look at.

The first plugin I install on a Rails app is almost always Exception Notifier (http://dev.rubyonrails.org/svn/rails/plugins/exception_notification/), despite its recent problems with edge.

More recently, I've found myself adding will_paginate (svn://errtheblog.com/svn/plugins/will_paginate) pretty quickly, as well.
