First off the blocks is Sam, who will be putting down our accounts for the day to take part in the Race for Life - this is on behalf of Cancer Research UK. Last year Sam managed to raise over £250 - we're hoping for better this year so if you head on over to her sponsorship page then you can help give it a boost!
Next up is me, tackling The Great South Run. Given the race is 10 miles, I have a fair bit of training to do - I managed a 500m sprint after the ice cream van over the weekend, but that's a long way off the required distance (although my pace was blistering!). I'm running as part of the Sue Ryder Care team - the folks at Sue Ryder do an enormous amount of work for people suffering from a range of conditions. If anybody want's to sponsor me, my sponsorship page is here.
I also wish the other runners in both events, and any others, the best of luck!
